   hello,
this probe was tested with Siemens versa and worked good,but it didn't work with Siemens sienna.
how to modify the socket to work with sienna?

	Hello Alexboy, There are three versions of this probe: 7.5L40+ LINEAR VASCULAR 40MM TRANSDUCER FOR SIEMENS OMNIA/SIENNA/VERSA 7.5L40 LINEAR VASCULAR 40MM TRANSDUCER (7.5MHZ) FOR SIEMENS ELEGRA 7.5L40 LINEAR VASCULAR 40MM TRANSDUCER FOR SIEMENS OMNIA/SIENNA/VERSA It sounds like you purchased the one for the Elegra - The only way to modify the socket is to re-terminate/replace the socket with a socket designed for your system - that will be very risky and very expensive. I would recommend that you contact whomever your supplier was and ask to return the probe if possible for a restocking fee so that you can purchase the correct probe for your system. That is the best and least expensive option. Regards, Chris

	Hello Chris, no,I didn't buy the one of Elegra the one of Elegra has an oblong socket,but the one that I want to buy has a curved socket. the one that I want to buy,was tested with versa,and worked,but it didn't work with Sienna

	Hello Alexboy, Well, either the probe you received is not good (most likely) or the system you have can't run that probe due to a software revision issue or some other issue. Regards, Chris
