   Question: I recently purchased an ATL UM400C system which functions perfectly fine in 2D/Grayscale. However, whenever I try to activate Color Doppler Mode, nothing happens. Where should I start to look or should I just call in service?

Answer: The first step is to verify the system has the Color Option installed. Believe it or not, there was a "de-featured" version of the UM400C that only had 2D/Grayscale imaging modes. The easiest way to check to see if the Color Option is installed is to see if Pulsed Doppler (PW) Mode works or not. If it doesn't, the system most likely does not have the Color Option installed. Your next step is to now review the sales agreement that you signed with your sales person. If PW Mode works ok it is time for a service call.
