GE DMR Plus X ray

   Looking for information for a friend.  THey have a GE DMR+ Xray that has a "rotor fault error".  I know nothing about XRay, can anyone help us?? His notes state:  Upon pressing exposure the anode starts rotating then stops and the error message appears "rotor Fault".  He suspects the 400PL1 board or the Xray tube itself.  This is coming from a poorer facility, so the information may assist them in repairing and saving unnecessary expenses.  I'm new at this forum so I hope someone can help us.
