Hi

When i turn on the equipment, with eveything connected, i can only hear the main transformer and the monitor´s inicial humming sound .The equipment does not proceed from this point. The LV PS fans don´t work and no readings can be obtained on the LV PS. The green leds on power control do not light up. On the HV PS the green led indicating power on doesn´t light up. If i unplug CN102 or CN30 the LV fans start working and i can obtain all the voltage readings on LV PS as described in service manual, the green led on the HV PS turns on and the green leds on power control flash correctly.

What could be the problem?

Best regards

Paulo

Hi Chris

First of all thank you very much for your support.
I followed the diagram and came to the conclusion it was the HV board.
I then exchanged it with another one which worked just fine.
I also detected that the 220V AC was not supplied to the power supply connectors.
Is there any thing i can do to repair the HV board besides substituting all the capacitors?

Best regards

Paulo

Hello Paulo,

I honestly do not know - we do not perform board level repair/troubleshooting.
