GE Voluson 730 Platform Differences.

Question: How do I tell which version of Voluson 730 I have? Expert or PRO?

Answer: The simplest way to tell if you have an Expert or PRO Voluson 730 is to see if your system has a touch panel or not. The Expert has a touch panel whereas the PRO does not. There are some caveats however.
 
Here is a complete list in order of the fundamental Voluson 730 Serviceable Platforms:
 
v1.07 - Touchscreen.
***Note: May have Kretz graphics on the exterior panels, however the monitor will say "GE/Kretz" when booting***
 
BT02 Expert - Touchscreen.
BT02 PRO & ProV- No Touchscreen.
 
BT03 Expert - Touchscreen.
BT03 PRO & ProV- No Touchscreen.
 
BT04/BT05/BT08 Expert - Touchscreen.
BT04/BT05/BT08 PRO & ProV- No Touchscreen.
