Siemens CH5-2 Compatibility.

   Question: I have a Siemens G60 system with a CH5-2 Transducer. At our other office we have a Siemens G40; however it only has a VF10-5 Transducer. We have certain days of the week where I would love to use the CH5-2 on the G40 so I can schedule patients in the office that is closer to my home. Will the CH5-2 run on the G40? 

Answer: Yes, the CH5-2 is compatible with the G40 platform. The same transducer will also run on the X150 and X300. Please keep in mind that even though the probe is compatible it may not have the calculation packages turned on specific to that probe. I would recommend that you try the probe on the G40 system and verify that you have all the calculation packages that you need before scheduling patients.
