We have customer with keyboard freezes and stops responding. He needs to turn off and reboot and will work for a few days. Now the touch panel does not turn on, but after turning it on and off it will work, and sometimes the keyboard the whole kebyboard won't light up. Any suggestions: keyboard UI or power supply problem?

Hi Jaime,
This sounds more like a power supply issue. I would see if all the filters are clean which if they are not, could be causing the power supply that supplies power to the keyboard to fail.
I would also check all the power supplies to see if they are in tolerance and that there is not more than 1VPP AC ripple - that can cause a lot of issues with DC supplies.
Don't forget to check the incoming power in the wall and make sure there is a good ground.
Also, I would re-load software (both base and application) on the system before replacing any parts. These systems are highly software dependent and if a driver is faulty it may exhibit these symptoms as well.
